A holiday trip to Japan early this year sparked my interest in Japanese. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the scenic views, and most notably shopping at department stores offering products with unique designs I had never seen before. As a result of the trip, I have become more intrigued by Japanese culture and lifestyle. Hence, I am taking Japanese so that I can communicate better when I return to Japan, and also to improve my understanding of the country as a whole.
